A beautiful art with mysterious origins, Chinese calligraphy has fascinated and evolved throughout its history.
Join us Monday, January 26th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Alfred J. and Dorothy N. McAllister Meeting Room B at the Downtown Library. Dana Shen and members of the Purdue Chinese Calligraphy Club will present a brief history of Chinese calligraphy.
After the presentation audience members may ask questions while practicing writing. Learn the basic strokes and how to make your own ink. Supplies will be provided.
