Technology classes now available!
TCPL is once again offering a variety of technology classes where you can improve your computer skills. See what times and days are available by visiting the TCPL Event Calendar or by asking someone at the information desk of any branch. Registration is required.
One-on-One Technology Basics @ Campus
At the Campus Library, learn the basics of using a computer or tablet. These one-on-one sessions with a librarian allow you to get all your questions answered.
One-on-one sessions provide help with questions such as learning to use a mouse or keyboard, setting up an email account, sending an attachment, downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks, using a flash drive, using our library catalog and finding information online. For tablet questions, please bring your own device.
These tutorials are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Register at any information desk or by calling 269-5389.
New! Technology Tutorials @ Downtown
One-on-one technology tutorials are now starting Downtown in November and December. Learn about the basics of using a computer or tablet, and get started with online services like email, Facebook, and Twitter.
Available topics include basic Windows functions, using tablets, navigating and searching the internet, using library ebooks, and help setting email, Facebook, or other social media. Other topics may be available depending on staff expertise - feel free to ask! If you have questions about a tablet, e-reader, or similar device, please bring it with you.
Sign up for classes at the information desk or by calling 765-429-0113. Each session is limited to one topic, but you are free to register for multiple sessions.

E-Books and Other Library Downloadables
Did you know that the library offers free downloadable ebooks, audiobooks, music, and videos? Do you want to get help putting those onto your device to enjoy? Drop by the information desk for a quick starter, or get more in-depth help by sigining up for a one-on-one tutorial.
On January 11, there will also be a special drop-in sessions between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. No registration is required. Bring your device, passwords, and a valid email.

You can also check out our library collection. We have hundreds of books and magazines that cover everything from specific versions of Windows or Office to the latest tablet computers and graphics programs. Seach on TIPCAT or ask for help at the information desk.
