About the Klondike Branch Library
Built in 2007, the beautiful Klondike Branch Library is located on the west side of Tippecanoe County. It houses 55,000 items, including materials in Spanish. Visitors can find books, movies and non-fiction DVD's, music CD's, audiobooks, magazines and E-readers available for checkout. The library has 23 computers, for use by the public, including stations for using the Internet, online resources, word processors, youth educational games and the TIPCAT online library catalog. The library offers wireless Internet access (Wifi) and has a public copier, scanner and computer printer ($0.10 per B&W page, $0.50 per color page).
Klondike Branch Library has a 1,020 square foot public meeting room. It is used for community meetings and library programs. Reservations can be made by calling (765)429-0100. The branch features a fireplace sitting area, two study rooms, an outdoor patio area and a drive-up book return (on the west side of the building). Klondike Branch Library is also one of the few Indiana library properties certified as a wildlife habitat.
Visitors can participate in regular programs such as weekly Family Storytimes on most Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and 2p.m. and the Fireside Book Group which meets on the second Monday of the month at 2 p.m. Other Klondike Branch programs can be found here.
