Volunteer OpportunitiesV.I.P.S., Volunteers In Public Service, are a select group of individuals who donate their time and energy to helping our staff give the best service possible. V.I.P.S. do a variety of jobs from processing books to delivering materials to homebound patrons. Potential volunteers apply for specific volunteer jobs choosing from a list of available volunteer job descriptions. If none of these jobs are right for you, keep checking back as positions change with availability.Volunteers are asked to make a time commitment of a set number of hours per week and to adhere to a set schedule. The times and schedules are mutually agreed upon between volunteers and their supervisors. Volunteers are expected to observe the same dress code and rules of conduct which apply to the regular library staff.
